Caity Takes Out the Pink Zebra
The Beast lives!!
After all that hard work sanding, painting, and wrenching, Caitlin takes the finished product out for a spin… In something incredibly skimpy, of course.
Starting from a black aluminum road bike frame, she added Sora shifters/brakes and front derailleur, an FSA triple crankset, Shimano Ultegra rear derailleur, Sram 9 speed cassette (12-27), Forte pedals & toe clips, and a nice new Brookâs saddle to make sure her ass is sore for the next few months until it breaks in.
I suggested Pink Lightening… but apparently the Beast is set in stone :p

This girl is so much fun! She did a really good job on her bike, too. Sanding and painting a frame is a surprising amount of work.
Surprisingly similar to my bike setup. Only I have an eight speed cassette and a Tiagra in the rear. . .
. . . and higher spoke-count wheels.
Frankenbikes are the best.
